About

Biography

I’m a budding journalist and law student studying at the University of Technology, Sydney.

I volunteer at 2SER 107.3FM. Currently, I am a weekly reporter for The Wire, the national current affairs show broadcast on the community radio network.  I also report weekly for the Sydney-based current affairs show, Razors Edge and I am an occasional contributor to Final Draft, Australia’s longest running book show on the same radio station. I have previously co-produced for Studio MQ, Macquarie University’s own show (now disbanded).

I am also currently the Health and Science Editor for Reportage Online, a magazine of the Australian Centre for Independent Journalism. Before that, I was a state reporter for the Federal Election 2013, focusing on Queensland, and freelance contributor for health, science and politics.

I am also an Australian correspondent for Wannabe Hacks: wannabehacks.co.uk, helping to pioneer their new international strategy abroad.

In late November 2013, I will be interning for three weeks at The Conversation as an editorial intern for Health+Medicine.
